2- Time Female Olympian Skier Joins the Get It All Campaign

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2012

At the age of 14, Seba became the Youngest Alpine Ski Racer in Olympic History during the 1988 Games in Calgary, Canada, and became the First Black Female to ski in the Olympic Games. To this day Seba Johnson still holds this title. Seba was placed 28th out of 64 of the world?s best in the Woman?s Giant Slalom. Four years later, Seba qualified for the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France competing in the Giant Slalom and Slalom ski events. As an animal rights advocate, and a vegan since birth, Seba protested the 1994 Games in Lillehammer, Norway and decided not to participate due to the fact that Norway lifted their moratorium and resumed their practice of commercial hunting for minke whale. She was once disqualified from a World Cup ski race because she refused to wear a ski suit that had a patch of leather sewn into it. At the age of 15, Seba competed in the 1989 World Alpine Ski Championships in Vail-Beaver Creek, Colorado, and in 1991, she competed in the World Alpine Ski Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglem, Austria. She also competed in several Women?s World Cup Downhill races.

Denzel Washington an avid fan of Seba Johnson?s told Seba, ?You have done America proud.”

As the first youngest Olympian skier, The Get It all Campaign finds it fitting that Seba becomes the first lady of their organization. NFL star and international recording artist Bret Lockett and Prince Syc welcome Seba Johnson into The Get It All Campaign, as she embodies everything that encompasses their movement on an international level. As every member of The Get It All Campaign is multi- facited, so is Seba Johnson. Seba has transcended from professional athlete to philanthropist, entrepreneur, entertainer and spokes person. As the Get It All Campaign triples in numbers and popularity, the good fight to the finish could not be completed without a ladies touch. Just as the Get It All Campaign stands for charity, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, music, sports, health, wellness and so much more, we have yet to see the best out of these emerging stars as they join together to fight the good fight.

NFL Star Bret Lockett has been quoted regarding Seba?s involvement wit the Get It All Campaign, ?There would be no other person more fitting to join the “Get It All Campaign” let alone the first woman to our cause than, Seba Johnson. With her sincere heart & philanthropic passion, we welcome her in becoming another extraordinary addition to our team.?

Another foundation The Get It All Campaign has joined forces with is the ?Nplay Foundation to help prevent childhood obesity in our country which is one of the fastest growing epidemics. Specifically, Bret and Seba feel very passionate about this very subject and both as professional athletes feel the need to be examples to our youth of tomorrow.

A quote from the founder, Eric Cohen of ?Nplay Foundation in regards to joining forces with The Get It All Campaign;

We are thrilled to have Bret and Seba partner with ?Nplay and our other athletes. Their commitment and passion for helping children be active and healthy is on display every day with the ?Get It All? campaign. They are the type of role models our children need both on and off the field. We are proud to be working with them and look forward to all we will accomplish in the future. http://www.nplayfoundation.org

President George W. H. Bush supported Seba Johnson as well quoted;

?Seba Johnson, for example, attended Head Start as a child in the Virgin Islands and, at the age of 14, became the first black woman skier to participate in the winter Olympics, representing the Virgin Islands. Today she lives in Nevada, where she is training for the next winter Olympics, and is volunteering her time to help celebrate Head Start’s 25th anniversary.

In a recent article with Seba Johnson, she has been compared to President Obama.

KITTERY, Maine ? Seba Johnson and Barack Obama have a lot in common. It’s something they discovered when meeting at a book signing in Portsmouth in 2006. They’ll share common ground again ? albeit from a distance this time ? at Tuesday’s presidential inauguration.

Both have white mothers from the United States and fathers from East Africa. Both have half-sisters. Both have connections to Hawaii. Both were “firsts” in their fields. And both were told at one point that it wasn’t their time to break through.

Glen Arbor, MI (PRWEB) December 16, 2008

The American Nordic Walking System and http://www.SkiWalking.com are #1 in customer satisfaction and are the leading retailer of quality one-piece Nordic Walking Poles in the USA and Canada. Even Santa Claus has been spotted Nordic Walking with poles from The American Nordic Walking System and SkiWalking.com – for health and fitness. And Santa Claus is teaming up with The American Nordic Walking System and SkiWalking.com

Over 6 million Europeans are walking with poles – in the cities, out in the country and up in the mountains. Originally ski walking and hill bounding with poles were secrets of elite cross-country ski racers when deprived of snow during the summer months. Today Nordic Walking Poles are being successfully and effectively used by individuals of all ages and all fitness levels. Real Nordic Walking Poles are equipped with comfortable Nordic Walking Straps and include removable rubber tips/paws for use on pavement and other hard surfaces. The metal tips are ideal for your favorite trail, the beach, snow and ice.

Nordic Walking Poles also make perfect Holiday gifts. Nordic Walking Poles are not just an effective yet low-impact cross trainer for all types of athletes. Nordic Walking Poles are also helping with weight management and have proven successful with Weight Watchers, Tops and other weight management programs. Individuals with knee, hip and back issues have also found success walking with poles – including those with new knees, new hips and even rods in their backs. Nordic Walking poles also help to improve balance and stability – even for those with MS, Parkinson’s, Neuropathy, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, Fibromyalgia, Post Polio and other issues that affect balance and make walking a challenge.

Nordic Walking should play a key role in helping thousands of Americans find success with their New Year’s Resolutions regarding improved fitness levels and/or weight loss.

The staff at The American Nordic Walking System and SkiWalking.com know that one-piece poles are safer, lighter and much more durable than cheap twist-locking adjustable length/telescoping/collapsible poles from China. Once the staff at The American Nordic Walking System and SkiWalking.com know the height of an individual the perfect length poles are selected and backed up with a Perfect Length Guarantee.

Perfect length poles help individuals to automatically walk with a super straight back – better walking posture is biomechanically a good thing. This improved walking posture when combined with the unique 4-Wheel-Drive type action of walking with poles radically reduces the stress to the shins, knees, hips and back. Nordic Walking is low impact and yet provides a highly effective workout – burning more calories and working more muscle groups than regular walking.

The folks at The American Nordic Walking System and http://www.SkiWalking.com are ready to help make your New Year’s Resolutions come true.
